Nah mate, sometimes you have to understand that a players connection to a club is too strong to suddenly leave for the enemy. Messi has been at Barca since he was about 13, they looked after him and gave him the medical treatmeant he required back them and couldn't afford in Argentina. He's a catalan and he's pretty much the highest earning footballer in the world. He is very well looked after. Why would he leave all that and the best team/club in the world to go play for the failing enemy?
Impossible

It's breathtaking, laughable arrogance. Man City are going the same way.

Shame his buyout clause is in fact €250M
From Wiki: In 18 September, Messi signed a new contract with Barcelona, running until 2016 and with a buy-out clause of €250 million included,They've won the league, bigger stars than Dallas, they've got more silver than Buckhingham Palace, no one knows quite what to expect, when the Red Machine's in full effect!

- apparently he is so much of an adopted catalan that back in Argentina they don't like him very much and refer to him as "the catalan". He has apparently shunned his heritage and himself admits he feels more spanish/catalunian than argentinian
