I think it will be Green. He's played in all the competitive games pretty much. There was an interview I read somewhere in which Casillas said that the lake of big game experience of keepers would cost us. He's probably right and I think it's only the fact that James at least has experience in non-**** sides in the PL that keeps him in contention.

I would have thought so too but he only played 45 mins against Mexico, was then left out completely against Japan and now only 45 mins today. Also David James was given the number 1 jersey, thats got to be significant surely? Looks far from a sure thing

i feel thats what they have to do with Joe Hart who for me looks the best prospect by a mile, of a back of good season where credit to him he left for a 'lesser club' for first team football and has benefitted from it.

23 now, at this world cup - prob just to soon for him to feature/start but great experience and after the world cup he should be made Englands no1! - and then play (certianly start) in every match when available - friendlies, european championship qualifiers, then 2 years down the line be ready for a big tournement, play in the euros, continue in the world cup qualifiers - by which stage all being well we should have a 27 yr old keepr with 50 caps and big tournement experince for the next world cup

Yep I think Hart is the best keeper you have. Rather than worry about his lack of experience he should be played. 23 is mature enough and he's had a great full season for Brum
