Thought exactly the same thing. Portsmouth are doing alright FFS, they've had their chances. Chelsea are just better. Pompey's spirit looks fine to me.

He's always come across as a dick, when i've heard him commentate.

It truly beggars belief how some of these people make a lucrative career out of being so ****. Clive Tyldesley, being candidate number one. Someone in ITV management must actually sit there and think "Yep, these lads are quality - lets use them".

It amazes me how people that are so universally accepted as being utterly ****e, continue to be chosen.

In fact just on another point re Beglin - Tyldesley asked him earlier on about the 88 final - and Beglin referred to LFC as 'Liverpool' - rather than 'us'. I know he was injured, but that was truly pathetic. Sees LFC as 'them' instead of 'us'.

Never quite see him as a real Red, even though he was a red for a good 6 years or so.
