I watched them during African Cup of Nations and I was disappointed how poorly they played. On that note, Egypt played great so I would pick them and Algeria from African nations to go the furthest.

Can’t see past Spain (which sort of defeats the purpose of this thread), but does the BBC or anyone else have a predictor for the World Cup? I couldn’t be bothered working out manually who might have to beat Spain to get to the final.

Cant see any underdog making the semi finals, but perhaps quarters. Teams like Serbia or Ivory Coast - but would that really be a major surprise if one of those got to the last 8? Perhaps if Ivory Coast did so, it'd be a bit of a story because it'd mean either Portugal or Brazil went out in the group phase.
