haha I seem to be finding that out every day longer I spend on est.... but back to talk on the ball, the danish and dutch players sent so many shots way over... i guess not everyone can control a football like yours truely
i get the impression that the ball is made for people who drive the ball and want dip and swerve. i played with the ball and when i went for power it came off so well. watching the games all the players trying to curve the ball as opposed to driving it are putting it over the bar, look at ronaldo last night too, he drives the ball and nearly scored from 30 out
the argentinians use this ball apparently too..........
The league does. But there are barely any players from the Argie league playing at the WC. Most of the Argies are based in Spain, Italy or England

"looking through your posts since 2007 and what you have consistently written about my football team I have come to the conclusion that if you had 1 more brain cell you would be a plant .. your father was a hamster and your mother smells of elder berries, I fart in your general direction ..." Nicey

That is exactly what I hate about it. When I play football, I want to curl the ****in thing. I've always done it and I want to continue to do it in the future.
Does everyone have to lick it like ****face ronaldo now.
It's not that extreme. I just hope thins type of ball doesn't become commonplace

Don't worry. FIFA, UEFA and all the country FA's will get Nike and Adidas and whoever else to develop different but equally **** balls.
And it's all completely unnecessary.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

i dont think ball development is unnecessary. we wouldnt see half the goals we see now which are swerving/dipping/curving if it wasnt for ball advancements, the ball has just gone a bit too far this time. that can probably be placed in the hands of fifa who expect adidas to produce a new ball every world cup, soon enough the ball is gonna have rockets which come out of the ball when people shoot it
idk if that is the case the ball is just taking away from the players who tend to place the ball and try and focus on curve and placement more, while benefitting those who try to belt the ball.. its just that most players try placement/curve

I didn't say it's always been unnecessary but all this new ball ****e that comes round every major championship and sponsorship deal is. It's marketing and has nothing to do with improving the game.

If it really is as different as it's cracked up to be, I also don't see how having a ball most teams haven't played with before makes for anything but a lottery for most and an unfair advantage for some.
