I think he will eventually go on to make a decent manager if he wants to. He seems to have a good understanding of the game and is well respected. He will also have the advantage of not managing the players he played with as they will all be sold off. he would need an experienced team below him but I would think he might be as good an option as they are likely to find given their situation.

He's a deep thinker isn't he. He's not got the best attention span though I don't think its possible for him to manage and play at the same time. He's admitted in the past at how easily he can lose focus on his game.
They should give him the job, just for comedy value. His post-match interviews will be on par with the great Tony Adams
