If the WC is anything to go on (which it probably isn't) he'll look like a very good player for Sunderland but will struggle to score goals. Probably a bit like that "Cucho" Benitez last year for Brum.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostSunderland about to sign Asamoah Gyan.James Philip Milner Fanclub #1

He must be the biggest journeyman out there. He never stays anywhere for more than 12-18 months. He must've played for a dozen clubs. And to cap it all he never scores any goals wherever he goesOriginally posted by red g View PostYes I believe Marcus Bent is going to Wolves on loan."
He must feel very dissapointed as a journeyman striker not to have been linked with Liverpool this Summer.
And he's filthy rich
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Asamoah Gyan has arrived at Sunderland ahead of his proposed move from Rennes to the Premier League club.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostSunderland about to sign Asamoah Gyan.
Gyan caught the eye at the 2010 World Cupafter scoring three goals for his country Ghana in South Africa.
Black Cats boss Steve Bruce is keen to bolster his frontline before the transfer window closes at 6pm on Tuesday, and Gyan has emerged as his top target.
It is understood that a deal in the region of £12million could be in the offing, set to be rubber-stamped following a medical and the agreement of personal terms.
The 24-year-old joined Rennes from Udinese in 2008 and he has since scored 14 goals for the club.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
May the Lord bless this post.

He is good though, scored 21 in 40 games or so last season which is good for a young midfielder.
