Last week we were discussing how AC Milan were so broke that they had to persuade Genoa to buy Kevin Prince Boateng and loan him to them.
Yet today they seem to be signing Ibrahamovic and Robinho WTF
Mate of mine is italian and a big milan supporter - he reckons they're getting both on loan without a fee, and with an option to buy in 12 months - so it's not costing them anything other than wages, at this stage.
Just heard from a reliable source that Steve Bruce is to make a late effort to lure Ronaldinho to the Stadium of Light from AC Milan if the signing of Asamoah Gyan falls through, which appears to be likely with agreeing personal terms the problem. Watch this space."
Sunderland have broken their transfer record with the signing of Ghana international striker Asamoah Gyan from Rennes.
The Black Cats were locked in talks for much of transfer deadline day to secure the signing of Gyan, who was one of the stars of this summer's World Cup finals.
Now the North East club have finalised a deal worth in excess of £13million for Gyan, beating their previous record of £10million which they paid for Darren Bent from Tottenham in 2009.
The 24-year-old underwent a medical on Tuesday morning before penning a four-year contract with the Black Cats.
In a move to off-set some of the huge fee, Sunderland have agreed to let Martyn Waghorn join Leicester in a deal worth £3million.

So they've lost 4 centre backs and replaced with 2, and not added a goalie. Arguably weaker IMO.
Aston Villa In Stephen Ireland Out James Milner, Nicky Shorey, Marlon Harewood, Stephen OHalloran
Ireland for Milner is a straight swap. Who they get to replace O'Neill will be the factor that decides their season. No stronger than last season, but no weaker really.
Chelsea In Ramires Benfica, Tomas Kalas, Yossi Benayoun Out Franco Di Santo, Michael Mancienne Loan, Ricardo Carvalho , Jack Cork, Scott Sinclair, Deco, Danny Philliskirk, Joe Cole, Michael Ballack
As a few have said, Carvalho is a big loss and one I'm surprised they haven't replaced. Still the team to beat though, and their form so far is showing that.
Manchester City In James Milner, Mario Balotelli, Aleksandar Kolarov, Webuyanycunt, David Silva, Jerome Boateng, Yaya Toure Out Robinho, Stephen Ireland, Craig Bellamy, Nedum Onuoha, Javier Garrido, Valeri Bojinov, Sylvinho, Benjani Mwaruwari, Martin Petrov
The only team to have really strengthened really. I'd say they're a shoe-in for third, depends on how well Mancini manages their morale - we've already seen Adebayor spouting off.
Tottenham In Stipe Pletikosa, William Gallas Out Dorian Dervitte, John Bostock, Adel Taarabt
After all the big names they've been linked with (same as every summer really) they've not exactly strengthened have they? I think fatigue will get to them later in the season. Subject to 'Arrys wheelings and dealings Van Der Vaart would definately improve them, but it wasn't really one of their weak area's
We might not have had the greatest of summers, but there's only City that have improved. I think with a bit of luck (on injuries in particular), we should be fighting it out with Arsenal for 4th place.
2015: I can exclusively reveal... the Tottenham media staff are still not answering their phones. Given we had planned to wrap this commentary bad boy up at around 1900 BST, I'm starting to wonder how long I should continue. It might be worth sticking around just in case Rafael van der Vaart is presented this evening, though… especially if his missus is in tow. Even if VdV is rubbish, she'll brighten up White Hart Lane on a matchday and no mistake.
