I reckon they'll start more like this:

    ....................Alonso
    .......Silva........Xavi.......Iniesta

    ..............Torres......Villa
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

I suppose Fabregas will be eased back in since he's been injured so you may be right but later in the tournament he must play

hope they do - they will get beaten with no defence or keeper. In fact shaggy if spain start with that line up i'll give you the money myself

Hard to disagree but he's never cemented a starting place for them and I wouldn't be surprised to see him mainly as a sub.

Unbeatable? About as close to perfection as you can find anywhere. I even left out David Silva!!
Not much steel in the middle and those full backs can be dodgy

They don't need steel because no-one will get the ball off them anyway

Not much of a defence, but I'd punt on their full reserve team ,making the semis.

                    .............Reina

                    ...Marchena...Albiol ...Arbeloa

                    ... ...Martinez ...Busquets

                    ...Navas ...Fabregas ...Mata

                    ... ...Pedro ...Llorente
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I'm always impressed whenever I've seen Llorente play for Spain, he's a physical beast. I think he'd make an excellent signing for us, a good partner for Torres, and strong and powerful enough to play up top on his own if Torres got injured.

Fernando Torres partnered with Fernando Torres Llorente

                        That would make things interesting

They've been faffing about a bit, sweating on injuries and the like, so they had a 24 man squad for almost a fortnight before they finally cut Roberto Cereceda. Poor bugger.

The big news there though, is the condition of Suazo, who picked up a hamstring injury on Sunday in Chile's friendly. He looks to be sitting out at least the first match against Honduras.
