I bet that Chile dont make it through the group stage now. Spain will need to win their game against them to make it through to the next stage assuming they beat Honduras. If the Swiss beat Honduras by 1 and Spain beat Chile by more then one then the Swiss will go through.

Spain were let down a bit by waiting too long to implement a plan B. With Navas and Torres on they created a lot more opportunities I thought. The problem was that Torres was nowhere near sharp enough. Not sure who else is in the squad as strikers but anyone willing to hang around in the box would have helped them.

The plan A of passing a team into submission is good but if you have no one in the box then you make it easier on the opposition. The Swiss were disciplined and hard working but nothing more. Spain simply aren't as good as some make out - that is twice (the other being the Americans) that they have suffered in exactly the same way on South African soil. Lessons should have been learned and weren't.

I think the criticism of the referees is wide of the mark. If anything they are giving more protection to the flair players than in the past.

I thought the same thing. He really struggled out there but then in honesty he was given like 30 minutes to make his mark.

Busquets was **** last match, completely isolated in the game. Baffled why they haven't gone with Iniesta or Cesc and just go all out for the win.

Iniesta must be injured. Silva on the bench accompanied by Cesc? Very strange selection I must admit but it still should be enough to go pass Honduras.
