nah that was the home kit, the away kit used to be dark blue, with the chequered red and white blocks under the arms.

Sounds hideous but it was class

I believe their shirts were selected as the nicest on almost every tournament they attended

I really liked Jamaica's WC1998 jersey, I saw one real cheap on eBay once but didn't have paypal and it was sold immediately. Does anyone know where I could purchase one now?

This thread should be moved to the general football section. These teams have no place in WC 2010.

Of course, we can't forget Ireland. I will be booing Thierry Henry's every touch. Actually, the whole French team can go and f%#k themselves.

For me personally Croatia should have been there and maybe Bosnia. Croatian team is pretty much the same team that played on Euro Cup (was rated 7th in the world at that time) but they played poorly in both games against Ukraine, which ultimately cost them the WC spot. I also like Modric (would love to seem him in LFC uniform) and also Kranjcar.

Bosnia was very unlucky in their play-off games against Portugal especially in the first game in Portugal. Dzeko and Misimovic are very good players and I would not be surprised if they eventually find their way to PL.

if you don't mind me asking..where are you from? is it in any correlation to your nickname?

and i agree with you regarding bosnia, they were terribly unlucky against portugal, and i only hope they make it to the next big competition along with as many of the former republics as possible

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
