Unknown Players who have impressed in the World Cup

I thought we could have a thread where we discussed not so famous and unknown players who have impressed in the world cup.

For example, I liked the performance of the Uruguay left back. Defensively decent and ran up and down the wing the whole game. I think his name was Pereira. The goalkeeper Musleira ( plays for Lazio it seems) looked assured. They also have some really hard DM.

South Korea also seem to have some really good technical players with pace.

I think that the referees also deserve mentioning, so far they have been excellent, which is unusual for these World Cup refs from exotic countries (in terms of being important in the football field), apart from the S. Korea - Greece game maybe, where I believe they really made some poor choices in favour of the Greeks.
