I'm suprised it's not Ronaldo. Clive has wiped out last season.

Oh well, there goes my BP pension.

A deserving win by Ghana. Bob Bradley got his tactics wrong from the start, living in a Twilight Zone where one day, Robbie Findley and Ricardo Clark in a 4-4-2 is a good idea. He's done it three times and got scored on in the first 10 minutes of all of those matches. Amazing that he wouldn't start Feilhaber or Holden in a 4-5-1 with Dempsey playing off of Altidore and Edu in support of Bradley-- it's the only formation that has produced any goals for us at the Cup and he got burned again and this time, it cost us. The goal in extra time was a great finish by Gyan when DeMerit and Bocanegra were unable to run and play a bouncing ball (AGAIN!), but we never should have been there from the get go. Just a disasterous set of changes to start the match from the manager, really. And you take off Altidore for Gomez? He can't hold up the ball like Buddle can. I just don't get it. I really don't. But, he has four years to think about another **** loss to Ghana. Hopefully, we'll be in better shape at the back in 2014... **** me. Dire.

i was thinking at 1-1 with extra time coming, bring on onyewu, leave the front players alone. maybe that would've been a better idea.

we had enough chances to win. if we had finished just one we could've won without even addressing the real issues of our play like running down blind alleys, taking an age to move the ball on, shipping goals from punts forward...i could go on.

It's England vs the Germans folks. even the most hardened non-England fan must be excited about this one. I've bet on Germany to soften the blow. Come on England!

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

do you put your hands on your heart for the national anthem. and why does that one player of yours not do it?
