I don't think that is the point though. I think there is a lack of top quality English managers.
The other issue is a lack of good English players.

That was fun! Glad I'm not an England supporter. We never showed any pride. Rooney shouldn't have played - he's obviously not fit. Carragher would have sorted the back four out, Terry is **** without Carvalho alongside him. Lampard blasting the usual stupid shots from miles out. We need a new manager to focus on bringing youth players through for the future. This current crop are too full of themselves, they didn't turn up they shouldn't get paid.

Did you not watch the games, did you not want them to win.. would it give you no pleasure at all to see them win a world cup or european?

I suppose what your saying is...your english, but don't care at all if england lose, and you have no feeling of patriotism towards the side.

Still find that a bit weird though, that you have no level of support whatsoever for your national side, thought stuff like that just came naturally.

I watched today's game. I watched most of the first game, fell asleep during the second, didn't see any of the third. I don't give a **** about England really although I think it would have been good for the country for us to make decent progress in the competition. I like watching good football and England are usually crap. The whole team were woeful today, they need their arses kicking.

No argument there, but football aside, i just find it hard to understand how any englishman wouldn't have some level of support for their national side....whether it be football, rugby, whatever...surely you'd support them in their attempt to win....just because your english if nothing else, then again..what other reason is there.

Ah well, no big deal.
