    Spurs Sponsorship

So Spurs have just announced that our Sponsors for the Premier League are Autonomy (who the feckrel are they?)....

However we will have seperate sponsorship deals for European and seperate domestic cup games.

Quite shrewd really and I believe the first deal of it's kind, for our league anyway.

The thing that does bother me is that this means there will be 3 seperate sets of shirts, making 9 in total for next season. Ridonk.

You might say it's savvy, shrewd or whatever...and it probably is, but there's no escaping the fact they're ripping the fans off summat rotten. Terrible really.

Is that definately a shirt sponsorship or who get the most advertising boards and logos on the post match interview backdrop or use of spurs image for advertising etc?

I'm suprised this took so long to occur in the EPL. In Australia Sydney FC have had duel sponsorships for years. In the deal, one company gets the main shirt sponsorship at home games and one at away games and both share the sponsorhip on the boards surrounding the ground at games as well as any other areas available

Are they really selling all these types of shirts to fans? You'd buy the Premiership one and maybe as it's the first time in the CL they could sell CL shirts (clubs have done that in the past, different shirts but the same sponsor, usually only a ome shirt), but who would buy the domestic cup shirt??
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

I'm not sure how it's ripping off the fans, its surely buyer discretion to buy every variation of the kits.

I don't think you can call it greed, I personally like Levy... He's kept Spurs running a profit each year and pumps a decent amount back into the club.

Kids put pressure on parents and there's bound to be families out there with more money than sense who end up with all of them.

Levy is good for Spurs, no doubt about that.

Who are the other sponsors? I'd assume that the domestic cup sponsor must be fairly minor? I think it's an interesting idea that will probably catch on.

Well that's the parents fault IMO, kids are nutured into being spoilt mouthbreathers they aren't born that way.

The other sponsors haven't been announced as yet... I'm not even sure they'll release all the kits, I just assume they will.

To a degree it is but there'd be no pressure in the first place if Spurs weren't releasing 28 kits. Or rather there'd be less if there were only three kits.

No doubt it's a good deal for Spurs.
