As does the nature of the lower leagues which are very competitive and risk averse.
      I think there will be a change in youth policy in a few federations after this world cup.

        Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

          The problem is it takes maybe 10-15 years to see the effects. So we are now seeing the results of youth coaching from the era of 1995-2000, we won't know how good or bad the current system is for years.
          The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
