    Motorised Satellite dish

    Hi gents,

I have a motorised satellite dish so i can get all the games from all over the world. i dont know how many of you have this kind of setup or are interested in this kind of thing.

There is a website called LJ's www.liveonsat.com they show what game is on and on what channel it is on.

If anyone wants any advice on setting a similar system up so they can also get all the games then please drop me a PM or post here and i will advise all i can.

Hi mate there is no PM thing really, basically you buy the gear for about 99 quid you get someone to fit it, usually from about £150. then you get a little box to plug in to it and it moves the motor to any satellite, spain, italia etc.

then with the correct amount of tinkering you can pick up for example one of sky sport italias 15 sports channel's or albanias 5, germanys 5 etc. there is always a game on somewere alot of the time free to air games are on. there are some websites that i can point you in the right direction in order to get the whole thing running and if you need any help i can do that to.

it is a good way for non season ticket holders to get 3pm's or for people to see the 3pm away games.

Last season everysingle game and every single pre season game i got in the comfort of my living room thanks to my motorised dish.

How are you getting these channels to open? Are you cardsharing?

Just by having the setup, you won't get the prem games.

I have had a dreambox for nearly 3 years now and there is no free to air premiership games.

haha yes it is. you dont get HD though! but yes i used to use the PPlive etc. found it to be unreliable and not very good on a big telly. thats why i went for the dish.

Card sharing is illegal! haha. that is one way that you can do it yes. or you can buy a subscription. or you can subscribe to a website, plenty of them out there (another form of CS though)

alot of people dont know how for example to get this kind of stuff or have never heard of it. rumour has it that the Albanian package called Tring will have full EPL rights for the next 3 years, there current subscription charge is about £200 a year. bargain!!!

Yep,supersport on 16e.Novasport will be showing all the premiership games aswell.

You can get feeds for the friendlies and some earlier rounds of cup games but generally, you have either subscribe or cardshare.

What box do you have and how big is your dish?

                  I have a 95cm dish but i have fitted 80s for friends.

I have a dream 500, 800Hd and my fav one is my VU plus HD. thats a deamon! has series link and all that goodness, twin tuner etc.

Technically speaking you could chuck a motor on a zone 2 and get 13 east and sky uk also.

my fav chan is Canal on 1w, i think they showed every liverpool game last year, all with english commentry and some in HD. quite expensive though. JSC sports (Al Jaz) are showing every friendly, LFC probably will show them all but some may be delayed kick off (not live)

Feeds are good also. i might watch the mancs tonight hopefully get a thumping from celtic.

i personally pay a subscription, but like any cable/ satellite provider certain methods can be used to "unlock" chanels by using keys or similar. i personally dont bother as i find it to be only 95% reliable. if you have your own subscription (for a fraction of the cost of sky) you can pretty much guarentee to get every liverpool game, pre season and home and away, league and cup.

i am very happy with my system, nice to get the lads around for the game. i personally cant afford to go to the game more than a couple of times a year so i find this works perfectly for me.
