With City looking to sign him i was talking with mates today and the opinions of him are mixed.

On one hand, he is very very young and has a lot of time to improve and could turn out to be a top striker.

On the other hand, he is absolutely thick when on the ball - puts his head down and doesnt look up, runs into trouble similar to Babel at times, but more - and sounds like a right knobhead even the Inter fans dont like him.

Thoughts on him?

I think he is far better then Babel tbh. You just wonder if some manager could get stuck into him and fix his attitude but then you never want to be the team who wasted 20 mil on some kid who you never managed to fix. I think he isn't worth more then 15-18 mil

I don't think he's worth 30 million maybe about half that.
Seems very powerful but does run with his head down.
I think he will struggle, and its a big risk paying 30 for an unproven player

More concerning would be everytime he steps on the pitch he seems determined to fight with supporters and rival players, he's got one of the most bizarre attitudes ive ever seen. No doubt being a black Italian he's got a lot of undeserved grief but he's still a loon.

He supposedly turned up late for Rafa's first training session aswell. If he is that talented I dont expect him to fulfill it unless he suddenly grows up.

Balotelli for £34m is definitely the worst transfer in the history of the game. The likes of Veron, Shevchenko and Robinho at least showed the ability to justify their price tags. This guy was never even a regular starter for any stretch of games, is a headcase and a massive cunt.
