Good luck to the lad. Never complained about not being selected so hopefully he can rebuild his career in Spain.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Liverpool: 'Best Fans In The World' - Pacheco
Former Reds forward Daniel Pacheco discusses his time at the club in an honest and frank final interview...
Spanish forward Daniel Pacheco, who moved to Spanish Second Division side AD Alcoron during the recent transfer window, has revealed he would liked to have played more at Liverpool but has no regrets.
The 22-year-old featured on 17 occasions for the senior side and, in an interview with LFC TV, he thanked the club for the part they have played in his development as a player.
"I am very grateful to the club and the treatment given to me for six years," said Pacheco. "The truth is that it was a very important stage in my life where I learned as a person and as a player, and where I got older.
"I didn't play as much as I had wished but, hey, this is football. I must continue working to prove that I can play at a high level. Liverpool is a great club and it is the dream of every player to play for clubs like Liverpool.
"When I came to Liverpool I was 16 and I could see myself playing at Anfield and that was my dream. Although I may have done it on several occasions, I would have liked to have done it for many years but that could not be, for now."
Pacheco was purchased by former Reds manager Rafael Benitez back in 2007 but struggled to hold down a regular first-team place, spending periods out on-loan at Norwich City, Rayo Vallecano and Huesca.
Asked by interviewer Veronica Carralcazar why he thought this was, Pacheco replied: "Football is like this. I was only young when I came here and was pushed to the top - playing in the reserves from day one and things were great. I thought if I stand out, soon I will be forming part of the first team.
"Maybe if I played more first-team games, I would have felt more stability playing at that level and that might have allowed me to be more confident but it didn't really work out that way."
Looking ahead, the ex-Barcelona youngster still dreams of playing at the top level once more and is committed to putting in the effort required to achieve the goal.
"My dream is to always play at the highest level for many years and at the biggest clubs," commented Pacheco. "That is far away now so I have to work very hard and do things very well. I am here to show that I want to play in many years at a high level and that's what I'll try to work at."
The interview finished with Pacheco leaving a special message for Liverpool supporters: "I will always be grateful to the fans. The people here are super-friendly, super-close and the truth is that this is something I will really miss. Liverpool Football Club certainly has the best fans in the world."
