    You guys are dicks!

I'm happy to wish you lot good luck. Although I would like at the same time to wish ill fortune to Mr Redknapp.

      Fair enough

If we make a couple of inspired signings I think we can prove ourselves. However, I'm not sure who's out there that we could get to take us that extra step.

Half of my family support liverpool, the other half Spurs, so I've always had a soft spot for them, not just in europe. However europe has been the only way I could support them in a more meaningful way, if that makes sense?

I thought Redknapp said he his only looking for loan signings? which is a shock to me becouse Spurs always seem to have money floating around.

Never considered supporting Arsenal or Chelsea?

Deep down I like Spurs - always have. As a kid I worshipped Hoddle and latterly Gascoigne. I had a signed Spurs ball from the mid 80s with Waddle, Hoddle, Chiedoze, Clem, Nico Claesen and lots of others.

However my Spurs mate is such a mouthy gob****e, when it comes to football, it's sort of soiled them for me. I want them to fail to rub his nose in it.

He texted me about our takeover last night - this is what he said

“That Huang joker is very iffy! No way is he real. What a farce at your club pal. I find it truly pathetic how once great clubs are flogging themselves off like this.”
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Yea I was a bit dissapointed when he came out of that. To be fair though, I think 'Arry just likes talking to the media so says anything to drum up a bit of media interest. I'd be supprised if we didn't actually sign anyone.

Unfortunately football supporters in general are ignorant dicks. Many of my mates are gooners, we seem to have an unspoken bond not to talk about football, or at least our rivalry.

Lucky for me really because it would amount to me getting gang raped.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Young Boy Wants to Play for Spurs

A real football fan. And by the sounds of things, a kid who actually is a childhood fan of a team. I think its refreshing.

Young Boy wants to play for Spurs - after ending their Champions League dream

Harry Redknapp found the gate to *Champions League riches blocked by a lifelong Tottenham fan last night.

Redknapp’s task looked a straightforward case of men against Young Boys after Spurs were paired with the Swiss underdogs from Berne.

But closer inspection showed the pathway to £25million of Champions League group stage loot was padlocked by Scott Sutter, 24 – a right wing-back born and bred in Enfield, four miles up the A10 from White Hart Lane, and a former Tottenham season ticket holder.

Sutter, whose father is Swiss, turned his back on English f*ootball at the age of 16 and has forged a growing reputation as a wing-back with Young Boys, who shocked Fenerbahce to earn their tilt at Spurs. His ambition is to play in the Premier League with Tottenham – but only after knocking them out of Europe later this month.

In truth, Spurs will fancy their chances after avoiding Dynamo Kiev and *Sampdoria in yesterday’s draw – although they will have to overcome Young Boys’ 3-4-3 formation and their Stade de Suisse synthetic pitch.

Sutter, who still harbours ambitions of playing for England, said last night: “I was watching the draw on TV in the club restaurant with my father, and when I leapt out of my chair it startled a few of the other customers – but once I’d calmed down they could understand my *excitement.

“As a boy, I used to stand behind the goal at the Paxton Lane end and watch Jurgen Klinsmann playing up front for Spurs, so to play at White Hart Lane in a Champions League tie would be living the dream.

“I won’t be pestering any of the current Tottenham side to swap shirts afterwards because ultimately my ambition is to return to England by the time I’m 25 or 26 and play in the Premier League, preferably with a Spurs shirt on my back.”

Sutter has left the door ajar for the Three Lions after rejecting approaches from his adopted country to win full senior caps for *Switzerland.

He said: “It hit me when I was cheering for England down the pub with my mates wearing an England shirt, and the following week I was going to be turning out for Switzerland at Under-21 level.

“It just didn’t feel right, I was English – from where I was born to my upbringing and education.

“It’s still my aim to play in the Premier League though, and it would be even more special if it was with Tottenham.”

Spurs manager Redknapp said: “We watched the DVD of their first leg against Fenerbahce and they absolutely hammered them at home, it could have been four or five.

“Then they went to Turkey and won the away leg, which is a fantastic result. They also have an astroturf pitch at their stadium, and they play well on it, so it will be a tough game for us.”
