What the hell happened to Fabio Capello in 2010? He's gone from being the most astute manager in the world to being a complete headcase in seemingly a matter of months. In the past he always seemed in control and one step ahead of everyone else and yet now he seems completely clueless and unsure about everything. His decision-making is utterly bizarre to the point where he barely even seems to be able to decide on anything anymore. Its laughable I think the altitude in South Africa completely fried his brain

Blackburn goalkeeper Frankie Fielding has pulled out of the England squad for Wednesday's friendly with Hungary and retired from international football.

The 22-year-old had been called into the squad to replace Ben Foster, who withdrew from the squad with an injury.

"I don't see myself as a reserve keeper and find that role very frustrating. I got used to playing every week for Rochdale last season and I have no intention of warming benches."

The news is a further embarrassment for Capello as he looks to make a fresh start after the let-down of South Africa, but the Football Association says it has no plans to replace Fielding in the squad.

          LOL

I myself would like to announce my retirement from International Football. I have come to this decision as i am now 27 and would like to concentrate on playing for my Club team the Crown and anchor and prolong my career at the highest level possible and help win the south east coast premiership.

Having not been selected to make the WC squad and seeing Emile Heskey selected ahead of me i feel i will never be given a fair chance to prove myself with England.

I suspect that the experience of being holed up with the morons of the England squad is what did it. There seemed to be so many reports of players being bored, many of which seemed to emanate from the camp itself. FFS for a start the world cup is on so there will be matches to watch, secondly you are at a luxury hotel training complex doodad surely you can find something to do? That's without even considering the lunatic idea of reading or the far more plausible playing a computer game. Somehow all the other teams manage and often even manage to sound happy to be at the World Cup.

I think it was only then that he was fully aware that part of his remit was to be nanny to a squad of mental toddlers.

Its gonna cost around £200 for me to go to see liverpool play as i am so far away. £60 on petrol alone.

Cant afford it much mate, maybe once every 2 seasons. Not made of money. I can get to see england for £50 including pie and a beer.

And what about away games in the south?

Based in Colchester, no Premiership teams for Miles around, nearest is West Ham and im buggered if im going there for an away game.

Its harder to get away tickets, although i got one for the Birmingham away game last year as i was there.

Its all about money for me though as ive just moved into my own house and every £ is precious.

If you can get to wembley, you can get to any London ground

"im buggered if im going there for an away game." - that's part of the problem then mate - if you want to go, it's not a great deal of effort to make IMO.

I understand the money point, of course but it'd cost you less to go to any London away game than it would to the England game. And re tickets, you can always get them if you ask in the right places

Im not going to upton park because the one time i did my mate got the **** kicked out of him for looking at someone wrong.

Please dont try and make me feel bad for not seeing Liverpool. I get to maybe 3 or 4 football games a year, one of which is Col Utd.

I'm not trying to make you feel bad mate, i'm trying to show you that it's not anywhere near as hard or impossible as you may think.

The Upton Park thing with your mate is obviously a ****ter, but it's extremely rare, i've been there probably about 10 times and never had an ounce of bother.

What a weird game it was last night. Never been to an atmosphere like it. Stevie was given a standing ovation when he came off and was by far the man of the night. All chelsea players are now hated. Cole especially, and as much of a cnut he is, didnt deserve it last night. Shrek got booed of, but waved to the fans. So fair play to the lad!!

Stevie is a legend though. Two amazing goals!

If you could see his facial expression, it was very much a sarcastic wave.

I thought at much, made me and the lads laugh.
