    Bellamy to Celtic

I heard last night that Bellamy is "defo" off to Celtic. Apparently he sent a text "about unfinished business..."
Might be worth a flutter if the bookies still have Spurs as favourites.

He's too good to play in the Scottish Premier League.

Load of bollocks. Not happening, Celtic couldn't afford his wages in a million years. No offence to the opening poster though, just saying its not true

Nah, he's not that good. Very streaky player who's either brilliant or average with no in between. He was great last season for City and had one excellent season at Blackburn before he joined us but before that he was never outstanding. Very injury prone too. He'll do very well in the SPL though.
A humble guy with healthy desire.

Fair enough -V- ( I would tend to agree with you as Celtic are Skint).
But this is "from the Horses mouth". A mate of Mine is a Celtic fan (with connections at the club) and he informed that CB text-ed AT:
that he was talking to them and that there was unfinished business.

          Take it or leave it...

They aren't skint as such, they are just tight cunts. They have big money coming in from the sale of Aiden McGeady to Moscow. McGeady is gone after being offered £40k per week tax free at moscow

But if you think about how much Celtic normally pay on wages and imagine how much Bellamy must be on at City its a non-starter

I could see it happening.Someone was telling me that they seem to be creating plenty of chances but don't have anyone decent to put it in the back of the net.

Celtic arent skint. They've just trousered £10m from McGeady.

Just realised this is about Craig Bellamy and not Robbie Keane, who i was thinking of.

Well Celtic are now 2.5 on Skybet - must have been a lot of lumping on - presumably the odds were much higher

Apparently Celtic are mildly confident, and they CAN afford his wages.

So rather than replacing McGeady properly with a young player they are going to spend the money on a 31yr old? Or is it a loan deal?

I find it hard to believe
