Next manager will be English, says Football Association
Haven't they tried this one before, they didn't do well last time they had a foreign manager (Eriksson) and replaced him with and Englishman (McClaren) and that was a success
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
England will never win anything after capello is gone.English manager will come in and flop and then Mourinho will make noises about being the man to take england all the way, then the english media and public will agree that he is the special one who can make it happen.Mourinho for england?
Harry Redknapp believes he is unlikely to ever be offered the opportunity to manage England.
The experienced coach has been touted as a potential national team boss in the past, with his proven track record at the highest level marking him out as a leading candidate.
His man-management skills and patriotism are well documented and it is felt that he could be the man to bring the best out of the Three Lions.
The Football Association have made it clear that they intend to appoint an English coach once Fabio Capello vacates the role in 2012, suggesting the door could be opened for Redknapp.
However, the Tottenham Hotspur boss claims he does not expect to get a call, as he feels his outspoken approach could ruffle a few too many feathers around Soho Square.
Younger
"I'd like to start by saying I'm very happy here at Tottenham, but I don't think the FA would ever go for me anyway," Redknapp told the Daily Mail.
"I don't think I would ever get the job. I don't know why exactly. I just get the feeling that maybe I wouldn't be their cup of tea.
"When Capello eventually moves on, I suspect they'll go for a younger man, even though I think it's a job that demands experience. But they're saying they want an Englishman, and while I'd like to see that, I don't see anybody jumping out at me.
"If Roy (Hodgson) does great at Liverpool he could be a contender but by the time Capello moves on Roy's 65, and you have to wonder if he'd still want it. Right now, I'm just not sure there's an obvious replacement."

Perhaps hearsay about bung-taking and a magically-disappearing FA inquiry might have something to do with it.
The re-appointment of an assistant who is caught on tape indicating a willingness to take a bribe might also be less than a recommendation for someone who is likely to come under intense media scrutiny, irrespective of the easy ride your media mates give you while you're at club level.
. Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.
