so was he a red or bitter??
I think it's a foul, and if the ref gives it. He got to give a penalty. I know it's outside the box, but you see them given that close to the area. So if the ref gives it he's got to give the penalty as it so close to the area. But I think it's a penalty. Robbie Savage 8/11/06

Are you watching Manchester United? Are you watching Chelsea? This is Liverpool F.C taking over the bloody world!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Waste of a great talent. Could have been a really good player. Should have been a regular in a top 4 side.
      Forwards.......

Are we going to analyse the velocity of a punch now?

He ****ing PUNCHED an opponent - when is that EVER acceptable?

And he's got a record as long as your arm. The ****ing bellend should be in a prison cell, not running around being hero worshipped by a bunch of thick-arsed geordies on a saturday afternoon.

No club with and ounce of self respect would have this toe rag on their books

Money is more valuable than self-respect, unfortunately.

I hear yer, but there should be no place in professional football for the likes of Barton and Bowyer

Totally agree, but Newcastle aint gonna just release a player who is, despite his cunt-ness, worth a decent amount of money as a footballing asset.

And if they did, someone else would just pick him up.

Upgraded opinion from ****** to *cunt'.

I still have fond memories of Steven Gerrard defending a team mate against Shearer, hopefully he was in the tunnel ready to have a go at Barton.

He was blatantly calling Torres a cocksmoker yesterday. ****ing ******.

We made him and Nolan look world class yesterday.

I was so hoping one of the wimps in our team cracked a late tackle in against Barton, ******.
                        We come not to play.

I was hoping the same but apart from Kyrgiakos I couldn't think of anyone who could go steaming in and look for a bit of a fight. Meireles at a push. kin rubbish. We need more violence steel.

I once thought of Kuyt in that vein, but he pulled out of *everything* yesterday. Konchesky had a chance before the 3rd goal to go through Barton but that guy is just a running parody of himself - he can't even clatter into someone right.

I've seen Gerrard pull out of 50/50s this season, we're a team of wimps.

Kuyt often pulls out of 50/50s, i've noticed it frequently.
