You obviously didnt ask, but i always thought it'd be a bit "after the lord mayor's show" for Spurs today. I've said all summer, how the 'league game after the CL' thing could be a rude awakening for them this year, and whilst i wouldnt have backed Wigan to win, i certainly didnt see Spurs as a safe option today.

As well as the post CL issues, Spurs are also notorious bottlers, i think they lost to Wolves and Stoke last season, and drew with Hull at White Hart Lane, so i never see them as the banker that many do. Plus, after the thumpings Wigan have had, it didnt surprise me that they were so focussed on being organised and dying to protect their goal.
