I think there's a dearth of quality left backs in world football at the moment, and I agree Cole would have to be just about the best around.

Undoubtedly a cunt of a man but at the same time, he's undoubtedly a world class player.

He doesn't have an obvious weakness - now that he's sorted out the defensive side of his game(which was always going to happen wiith age).

He's lightening quick, strong, got great balance, skill, stamina, sweet left foot.

Great ****ing player it has to be said.

Still think Evra runs him close though. Two of the best left backs in the world.

I think it is probably fair comment. He has excelled against top teams and players in defence and he is more than useful going forward. It's not that competitive a field in terms of top quality fullbacks really at the minute.
