I've always hated Rovers and how good they were back in the 80's. Kinda funny how they are now without a ground and in Div. 1. I really can't stand Bohs and Waterford.

I just wish the club could somehow do an official cull of the poxy little burberry cap wearing poxbottles who latched onto the club and go around calling themselves Rovers Fans!! I hate the little *******s singin' ****in' Millwall songs and startin' trouble while dragging the name of a great club through the gutter!!!

The eircom league was recently taken over by the FAI - it was run outside of the control of the FAI like the Premiership in UK is run outside the FA

For this season there was a criteria that clubs had to meet in order to play league football in Ireland - this is a once off - Limerick were thrown out of the league for not meeting criteria in the end.

The composition of the new league's tiers was decided by an Independent Assessment Group (IAG). The selection of teams was based on the 2006 league results, the previous 5 years performance, infrastructure, strategic planning, licensing and population densities
