I used to be a 10 but over the last four or five years I've found 11s fit me better. I figured 10 would be more common so I asked for those.
I should add I didn't actually ask as though I genuinely wanted them - I didn't want to suffer the embarrassment of them emerging with seven pairs of trainers that I didn't want. But yeah they had plenty. The fella said "do you not think we sell more than seven, say, size 9s on a Saturday?". So I asked if I could in theory have seven identical pairs, and he said some days no problem, other days no.
