            Norway-Portugal 1-0 FT

You can see Meireles is a good fotballer, but struggling in a hopeless Portugal team. Likes to take those runs into the box, which I like, nice passes, some Alonso'esc controlling of the midfield. Had a great chance to score early on, but didn't realize how alone he was and blasted the shot over. He was all over the pitch, defense and attack, but drifted in and out of the game, invisible for 20 minutes, then ran their midfield for the next 20.

Oh, Nani is a cuntish wining diver, and Quaresma is all flashy and no end product.

Terrible mistake from Pepe Reina! The ball is routinely played back to the keeper who is under no pressure. The Liverpool keeper looks to take a touch, but slips and loses possession of the ball. Reina and Tevez dive for the ball with the Argentinean winning the race and sliding the ball into the back of the net!

Of course it's a cliché but there really are no easy games in international football these days. I realise they will have been hoping for a win when they saw the opposition but I don't think Liechtenstein supporters should be too disappointed with the draw.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

Gutted for reina. Good job he's not English though he'd get slaughtered for that in this country. @ mare, short for nightmare

                            Cheers.

Glad to see no Torres. So far, anyway. He's on the bench though, i take it?
