Arsenal's Theo Walcott out for up to six weeks

Arsenal winger Theo Walcott will be out of action for up to six weeks after injuring his ankle playing for England.
The 21-year-old picked up the knock during the 3-1 Euro 2012 qualifying win over Switzerland in Basle on Tuesday.
He went straight to hospital for an X-ray after being clipped by Yves Oehri in the build-up to England's opener.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger said: "I thought it would be three or four days or four to six weeks - unfortunately it will be four to six weeks."
But Wenger admitted it "could be worse", adding: "We had some good news about the scan because at some stage we were scared it could be worse. But overall it is a question of patience and rehabilitation."

Is his real name Theodore Walcott?

I hope so - that would be pretty cool.
    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Theodore James Walcott is a great name. It sounds like a nineteenth century American industrialist.

Thomas Vermaelen out of Bolton Wanderers match after adding to Arsenal's injury woes

            http://www.goal.com/en-gb/news/2896/...h-after-adding
Thomas Vermaelen has added to Arsenal's injury woes after he was ruled out of tomorrow's match against Bolton Wanderers with an Achilles knock.

Vermaelen, 24, has joined Theo Walcott, Robin van Persie, Nicklas Bendtner and Aaron Ramsey on the sidelines. His withdrawal should see new signing Sebastien Squillaci form an all-French centre-back partnership with Laurent Koscielny.

Manager Arsene Wenger's depleted squad has been boosted by the return of midfield duo Samir Nasri and Denilson. The Brazilian has recovered from an abdominal problem, while Nasri is available earlier than expected after knee surgery.

Arsenal (from): Almunia, Clichy, Squillaci, Koscielny, Sagna, Rosicky, Song, Fabregas, Eboue, Arshavin, Chamakh, Fabianski, Wilshere, Gibbs, Diaby, Vela, Denilson, Nasri, Djourou.
            they are dropping like flies!
