Seriously is this guy the "Worst" referee in the history of the premier league, i just don't understand how many epic **** ups this guy can make before he is told to **** off, i have lost count of how many dreadful headline making mistakes he has made. Shocking that this guy has such responsiblity, i dread him officiating any of our games or any important games for that matter.

Arsenal vs Bolton
On the 11th September 2010, Stuart Attwell came under intense critism from Phil Thompson live on Sky Sports News during 'Soccer Saturday' when he sent off Bolton's Gary Cahill. Thompson's critisms were bourne out of the fact that Attwell should have given Bolton a free kick moments earlier. Furthermore, Thompson felt Cahill's challenge warrented only a yellow card, not a straight red card, which was what had been was given.RIP IRWT

He can make endless number of **** ups and still nothing will be done just as with every other Premier League referee. They do not have anything to answer to, at most they will get a couple of games off and then be let back into the game to just carry on doing exactly the same as they were doing before they few games off.Originally posted by danperkins View PostSeriously is this guy the "Worst" referee in the history of the premier league, i just don't understand how many epic **** ups this guy can make before he is told to **** off, i have lost count of how many dreadful headline making mistakes he has made. The only reason they get a couple of games off is so the relevant authorities appear to be doing something. What would actually be better is if they were made to face the TV/Radio reporters after a game and shown their **** ups. Actually, having said that, the reporters probably wouldn't have the balls to ask the difficult questions anyway, they certainly haven't when it comes to asking players/managers the difficult questions.
