What a cunt.
Sir Alex Ferguson has reportedly cancelled his weekly press conference again, in protest at media reporting of his comments about Fernando Torres.
Ferguson was unhappy that his accusation that Torres tried to get John O'Shea sent off in Manchester United's 3-2 win over Liverpool in September was characterised as Ferguson calling the Spaniard a 'cheat'.
This is the second week running Ferguson has refused to speak to the press. Last week he chose only to talk to United's in-house TV station, and local radio station Key 103.
Ferguson said last week: "You'd think Berbatov would get the headlines, but it was all me saying Torres was a cheat, which was ridiculous.
"I thought he made the most of it. That's not to say the guy's a cheat."
While Ferguson did not directly use the word 'cheat' in his comments about Torres, it was hardly a massive leap from his actual words.
Ferguson said after the game: "I have watched it again. Fernando Torres made a meal of it. An absolute meal of it. There is no doubt he tried to get the player sent off."
According to The Guardian, Ferguson's latest tantrum may last as long as a month.
