Also apparently Mancini doesn't rate Adam Johnson either, that's why he's always on the bench. He looks like their best player to me along with Tevez. Well if Mancini doesn't want him, I'm sure we could fit him into our starting 11 somewhere surely?!!

Mental .......he is gonna be a star, just wish we had signed him, come to think of it he would also have been ideal to replace giggs at utd.......

Well whatever the reason, he would be MUCH better utilized (and needed) at Anfield...Originally posted by -V- View PostIts not that he doesn't rate Johnson. Its more that he's hard to fit into Mancini's ridiculous ultra-defensive system. When you play a 4-3-2-1 its a bit hard to fit in a top class out and out wingerThanks for the memories Rafa - YNWA!

Carlos Tevez has dropped a bombshell by admitting he is thinking of walking away from football.
The Manchester City captain was involved in an angry confrontation with manager Roberto Mancini at half-time during the clash with Newcastle last weekend.
And it seems Tevez believes City are over-reliant on him, and isn't sure whether his body is up to the punishment it takes.
He said: 'I have been playing many games this season, and my body is feeling it. I am tired.
'I started to play when I was really young and I have always fought so much but now I'm feeling the effort. I'm an old guy now, and I started to think about some stuff.
'For example, I am less tolerant as a person today than I was a few years ago.
'Then I think - what happens if I quit football as long as I am okay in my life? When I talk about quitting, I mean quitting football, not just the national team.
'But at the moment I still don't know if this is going to be in one month, one year, three or five years. I have the idea of quitting in my mind.
Tevez added in the News of the World: 'Maybe one of these days, I will just wake up and say no more football.'

What a slack ******* - he's tired because he is having to work for his weekly £100k plus salary? Then again if I was that ugly, I would have retired a long time ago.Originally posted by -V- View PostCarlos Tevez has dropped a bombshell by admitting he is thinking of walking away from football.

he's a big ****ing attention seeking pansy....good player, but he really isn't arsed at all - he has a little hissy fit like this all the time.
He's basically saying he loved football...but now he's a millionaire, he can't be arsed with it all and wants to settled down
to be fair - though it's hard for us take...you can kinda see where he is coming from....if you was in a position where u could afford to retire and not worry about money or anythign and knew u could basically do whatever u want....u'd prob think yeah **** it i've had enoughi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

I think a career being owned by an investment consortium, being bought and sold, moved from country to country etc without any say so then 18months at City have worn him down. Playing 90minutes of every game as you start getting bit older because your manager wont pick other players and the general atmosphere at City woudl wind you up. I think its more a message to the owners to put some pressure on Mancini.
People going on about how much money they earn, meaning they should be able to do anything miss the point. The best players at every other club in england get rested from time to time because otherwise their performances drop and/or they get injured. Tevez doesn't want that spoiling his reputation."that is my opinion and that is more important than what anyone else has to say about it" - Mr A.Fergusson, Oct 2011

To be honest this is really tiresome.
He is just a ****ing drama queen.
He is paid more in a week than most people earn in a year.
He is paid to train a couple of hours in his work time and then is given the rest of the day off.
He is allowed to play football in his worktime at least once a week, sometimes as many as three times a week
Blessed with footballing feet, but cursed with **** for brains, Hopefully the numpty will take his one month option and do us all a favour
