How the **** do you go about it?

I know this fella. Used to go in the same pub and saw him most days. He was a bit of a Del Boy. Had his fingers in lots of pies. In his 50s he is. Sold Viagra to the lads in the pub...in fact he took it himself and had a seizure while humping some prostitute with the aid of a blue pill and now has a heart condition

Anyway I digress. He used to open (and then close) poxy shops, Christmas shops and the like. I stopped boozing in that pub, moved away and that was that.

I heard about him recently, via a mutual mate, for the first time in years. Inexplicably he is now scouting for Norwich City. Full time salary. What a jammy *******. I have no idea how he pulled it off. He's a United fan and knows no more about football than the average fan.

Does anyone know any scouts? If so how did they get into it?

I would have to guess that therein lies your answer. He probably just knew somebody who was able to get him this job as a returned favor (or a debt or an extortion payment or whatever...)

well he way ANDRE VILLAS BOAS did it, was by creating reports on the next side that were very easily digestible for the he players. by the time he was at chelsea, he was aking individual doovdes for each player showing the strengths and weaknesses of the man he would be expected to face the following match.

Well he was certainly a massive blagger. He was short and fat, had quite a glamorous wife several leagues above him, plus about four other women on the go plus regular visits to the brothel.

Maybe that's the key to becoming a top scout.

it's like anything on that sort of level i'd imagine. produce the goods, then send them all over whether they're asked for or not. record labels don't normally go talking to people who might be good in a band. you gotta prove you are up to doing the work unless you know someone.
