My Great Aunt is fighting for her life in a Hospital in Genoa, so sorry for the terse reply earlier.

Hope your Aunt makes a recovery mate.
might seem as though i'm picking on tj here, but i don't mean to.

however, on what map are turin and milan considered southern italy?

The fans attacked goalkeeper Stojković prior to the game on the team bus, well a few Red Star supporters did, as he's a former Red Star player who from this season on is playing for Partizan.

I dread to think the trouble they'll cause in a years time when we play them..although the last two times there wasn't a hint of crowd trouble, things just seemed to have escalated recently, and if no serious punishment is given, might go even further.

Brilliant. Serb ultra leader found hiding in the luggage compartment of his bus and identified by his tattoos. Wear a jumper next time. #ita

Thanks, she is a sprightly 91 year old though.

          I agree though, we're old.

I know its not Southern Italy mate and are both more nothern that Genoa. Just that Turin and Milan are where a lot of the hardcore Italy fans are. Juve especially due to their Ultra members. No way would it have been that clam with the italian fans in turin or even Rome.

was it in Genoa for the reason of possible crowd trouble
im no expert in Italian football but from the video the San Siro and indeed the Delli Api(?) both look like superior grounds.
The times they are a changin'.

Possibly, although unlike the English FA the Italian FA like to play internationals throughout the whole of the country.

No one in Turin supports Juve

I was just thinking that. Most people from Turin support Turin. Most football fans in Italy support their local team and then a big team i.e Milan, Inter or Juve.
