If it was possible to make a deal with any other club than City then they would most probably already sold him to Real for example.

No doubt at all that Rooney already agreed a deal with City, no doubt at all.

Would be so ironic if they had tapped him up too.

I missed the interview, but SSN usually show things like this 58 times, so they better show the whole thing again, in full. I've got the popcorn ready.

What a week for SSN, every day just seems to be explosive right now. This story will run and run too since the mancs on redcafe are already discussing booing rooney next time he plays. It will be interesting how they handle him now since its ages till the window opens! They surely have to play him

              Can they loan him out?

Fascinating to see how it plays out. I think he'll get all kinds of **** from the fans. To be honest I can see Ferguson mainly leaving him on the bench until then.

Just watching it on SSN now:

Ferguson: "I know that there could be a million questions on the subject. I cant answer them. I can give an opinion, but that then creates a situation which we dont really need to get into. But we would like to present the FACTS. Because it's important, because what we've been reading recently is certainly not the FACTS. As we understand them. Anyway David Gill had preliminary talks with his agent at the end of last season. It was to be continued after the World Cup. David Gill phones me and says 'I've got some bad news for you", that his agent intimated that he wouldnt be signing a contract and he wanted away. It was a shock, i couldnt believe it because in the early discussions, as early as about March, he intimated that he wanted to stay, he wanted to stay on a life contract, he was happy at the club, he was at the best club in the world. It was terribly disappointing because we could quite understand it."

He's cracking up, he's cracking up, he's cracking....Ginsoak's cracking up....

                  Fergierant!

Someone needs to photoshop the Tevez "Welcome to Manchester". Either Rooney on his own, or holding hands with Tevez.
Well, here we are in a room with two manky hookers and a racist dwarf. I think I'm heading home.

We've had a disastrous year but this implosion is just as bad. Lost Ronaldo and Tevez, got an amazing year from Rooney who carried them right until the end. But now they're losing him too, as well as Giggs/Scholes who are extremely important for them. Ferdinand's ****ed as well, and their best players are going to be Berbatov and Nani. That's barely enough for 4th place.

Looks like a beaten man. Wouldn't be suprised if he gives it up at the end of the season, he looked so fed up.

Always been used to these having like 4 or 5 top class players, if he goes its pretty much only Evra theyve got in it? And he's a left back who's 29! The rest are either not very good or shot to pieces mixed in with a few decent players.

The good thing is the other clubs are now realising and taking games to them. Their owners are ripping them apart, love it!

And skint and heavily in debt. Not only that but this could really knock United and **** up the season for them.
