Thats not true at all. He was a massive influence at Valencia, he is the type of player who is always involved in attacking play. He changed the game for City todayOriginally posted by JohnDoe View PostSilva scores a cracker every 10 games and makes you forget how average he is 90% of the time.

They have fantastic talents in Mata and Pablo and others but thats still a strange thing to say just 7 games into the La Liga season. Silva is a world class talent and his record of goals and assists at Valencia is superb. Also he has scored 10 goals in 42 games for Spain and he's not even a striker. He's only 24 as well.Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostWhy are Valencia better without him then?

He is 1 in 5.5 as a second striker at Valencia, that's not impressive at all.Originally posted by -V- View PostSilva is a world class talent and his record of goals and assists at Valencia is superb. I wouldn't say he was a second striker at Valencia. He played wide left, Villa played in the centre and Mata played wide right. Silva's job was primarily to create chances and he did that very well. 1 goal in 5 from a winger is pretty decent, considering most good strikers average 1 in 4Originally posted by JohnDoe View PostHe is 1 in 5.5 as a second striker at Valencia, that's not impressive at all.
