No.Originally posted by Subby View PostI love that attacking footy he has his team playing. What a great breath of fresh air to see...would he have the balls and nerve to run liverpool? Would you give him a chance to try it with a club with money? Do you think a manager who has cut his teeth in the lower leagues has it to succeed in teh Premiership? Discuss?Oh I don't know.

This is funny really.... Hodgson is so bad he has us considering a mnager like this, nothing against him..but this IS liverpool we're talking about.Last edited by Vermilion; 18-10-10, 04:28 PM.

Was going to say Burley myself, one great season then went out the next summer bought Finidi George and others - got relegated!Originally posted by Shaggy View PostFlavour of the month. A nice fella but a demented proposal. George Burley's Ipswich side played good attacking football too.
As you said flavour of the month.

I'd take mid-table at the minuteOriginally posted by Alex View PostHolloway used to be like everyother manager in the lower leagues. Lump it up to a big man and hope for the best.
He has changed his style alot over the last 18 months. He however will never bring sucess in the Premiership. He will be like Curbishly or Mclaren. Mid Table at best

Point No.1 is the Ollie isn't actually very funny (I've known him since I was 16) so the serious persona we now see is more of his true personality.
Secondly he can play attacking football at Blackpool because they were bookies favourite for the drop last season and no-one expects anything of them this season so he is managing without any pressure whatsoever.
He's a decent championship manager at bestThe King was back for a short while. Long live The King.
