    It never rains....

    But it pours...

Manchester United star Nani has emerged as a target for Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus.

United, who are currently bracing themselves for the loss of striker Wayne Rooney, would surely want to keep hold of Nani who has possibly been their best player so far this season.

His recent form has attracted the attention of some of Europe's biggest clubs with Inter and Juventus preparing themselves for a transfer tug of war, according to reports in Italy .

Juve are ready to offer around £13m plus goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon for the midfielder.

Such a deal could interest United because Edwin Van Der, 40 this month, has recently admitted he could retire as early as this summer.

Meanwhile, Rafa Benitez's Inter potentially hold all the aces in the form of United target Wesley Sneijder, who could also be used in a swap deal.

But the San Siro club are reportedly unwilling to offer the Dutch playmaker if they only get Nani in return.

It's fun to watch from the side but when you're watching at the bottom, it loses it's shine somewhat.

Once we've got a good manager, we'll be ok.

United's world is showing cracks all over the place, you name it...

      Old players
      Debt
      No money to buy superstars
      Manager soon to retire
Chelsea better than them and City growing

      It's rather pleasing.

Hasn't that been the situation for a few years now? Still I hope the cunts fail hard.

Previously, they were always able to rebuild with £30m+ signings. Not anymore

£13m plus Buffon must be tempting for them - they'd get another 8 years out of him.

But a team consisting of Buffon, Rio and Berbatov will not win the league. They will be in the same position as us.

Surely Fergie realises he has to try and operate in swap deals, much like our situation of old, the money from transfers rarely gets spent on buying new players of equal value. And I do doubt he would swap Nani for a keeper, he can get a cheaper keeper who can do a job and would chase an outfield player for sure...

They won't be able to pay Buffon or Sneijder's wages so both these deals are probably a no go.

Why the **** would Inter swap Sneijder for Nancy?
                    3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Yeah, and the replacements for the old guard - the rebuild players - have ****ed off or got ****ed up before they became the old guard. Not what Fergie planned. Wasn't Ronaldo supposed to be the heir apparent to Giggs?!

Not so loud with the gloating now are they?

I don't see Nani leaving in any swap deal or anything of that sort. He is their only player (excluding Valencia) that can give them some width, trickery and creativity + they recently renewed his contract as they have plans to keep him long term.

Will we ****, we need a new manager for sure, as well as at least 5 top class players. Plus 2-3 good squad players. Our squad at present is shambolic and needs a massive overhaul.
