I wonder what would happen if City challenged that in court?

Aren't UEFA allowed to do this though since it's their competition? City can play in the Premier League and still breach the FFP rules.

They have individual TV deals in Spain, I think they'll be ok for now but future bail-outs by the government/local 'councils' will be more difficult to hide.

How do you determine a market rate for advertising? It's worth what you can get for it. I think this will be very difficult to enforce if challenged.

But if Etihad pay City double what Standard Chartered pay us I think that's hardly market rate and due to their connections to the club I think it would be fairly easy to argue that they are paying over the odds to support the club financially.

im sure they have been making decent loses recently even with the massive tv deals
