    KRASIC BANNED FOR DIVING

Italian Serie A. Click here to bet.
Juventus winger Milos Krasic has been banned for two games by the Italian football league for diving.

Krasic won a controversial penalty in Sunday's goalless draw at Bologna after falling inside the area.

Video replays, however, showed Bologna defender Daniele Portanova did not touch the player.

A statement from the league read: "The TV replay showed that there was no contact between the two players and that the Bianconero player's dive was the cause for the referee to make a mistake."

Krasic, who is Juve's joint-top scorer alongside Fabio Quagliarella with three goals, is set to miss Saturday's game at AC Milan and the encounter against Cesena.

Juventus have announced they will appeal the punishment.

Punishing players and making an example out of them is the only way to cut that **** out. Is this the first tie this type of action has taken place?

Excellent player but also probably the biggest cheat in the game. You could easily ban him for diving every fifth minute or so.

    He is a disgrace.

Aye, they've been able to retrospectively do this in Italy for ages..why not here i wonder, although Juventus club lawyers are looking into it..so we'll see if he actually serves a ban, or escapes like Eduardo at Arsenal who fought the charge and won.
