Just heard he has left the club with immediate effect he was at a reserve game either today or yesterday and never came out for second half.

I hope it doesnt effect Chelsea to much

Sky are reporting it as if his contract was up and Chelsea decided not to renew. What you're say there about him leaving a match at half time points to something else.

got a text off a mate saying Wilkins had walked ......it came from a die hard chelsea fan though been Chelsea through and through for at least 5 years and even goes to the odd midweek game.

He goes on tv to work as a pundit, and refers to whatever team he's supporting on the day as 'we' or 'us'.

He always supports english clubs in europe, as if he has some kind of link with them - fair enough but he totally overdoes it. But them guess who he was supporting on May 25th 2005...

He's just a tit who thinks he's somehow 'involved' with clubs that he actually has no involvement with whatsoever.

Fully aware of this mate. He still irks me enormously.

He seems to have an affinity towards Italian clubs too, again almost to the 'we' extent. And i know he played there for a long time, but he's just a weirdo who seems to me, to try too hard to make himself sound 'involved'.
