      Does most of this come from Amortisation?

      E.g Bale was bought for about 8mil? Over a 5 yr contract, that's written down as a £1.6mil a year loss even though his value has clearly risen by about 10mil

        I see United have payed down their PIK's completely from an unknown/undisclosed source. The Glazers have stressed its not from the club coffers.

            In fact, Abramovich and Mansour aside, Joe Lewis' ENIC group have probably been the biggest individual backers in PL history - meaning owners who support their club from their own pockets, as opposed to massive revenue generating methods, such as Man Utd.
