And he's bloody awful, especially at centre back

Ivanovic is a solid player but he performs best at right back nowadays, he can play in the centre as well but ideally alongside either Alex or Terry.
Playing with that Portugese dud, i can see them shipping goals all over the place until Alex and/or Terry return.

Never replaced the brilliant Carvalho and never replaced the experienced Ballack. They also don't have adequate cover for the ageing Lampard and the injury prone John Terry.

They could do with 2-3 new signings in Jan.

Whats so gutting had we been in the form of two seasons back we'd piss the league, alas no Rafa, Alonso or Mascharano coupled with the incompetent bufoons running the team means we're scraping around with the relgation fodder.
