              They're spineless.
              They have no characters in their team. They're all youngsters nurtured by Wenger's losing mentality. Wenger can't win without leaders on the pitch who can carry his naivety.

                Yep they really lack a proper figurehead on the pitch. In fact they could do with two or three, they have none. Fabregas is quality but a leader he ain't.

                  Wenger is a fantastic but at the same idiotic manager.

                  He is throwing away title after title after title only because he refuse to sign a keeper.

                  Time to grow up Wenger and stop acting like child. You know very well what you're doing.

                      They need a commanding midfielder next to Fabregas as well.

                      Wenger's problem is that he believes his own hype. He thinks he made Vieira, Henry etc. but those players had "it". Wenger didn't give them that "it" factor, he just spotted their talent and gave them a chance. When they left he thought he was going to nurture more youngsters and there'll be no problems.

                      Talent isn't enough to win.

                        Ok we mighn't get anywhere near 4th place but there's still a chance so Spurs winning is a **** one.

                          Arsenal have the best squad in the PL if you don't count the keepers.

                          The Arsenal fans must really wonder what the hell is going on why they don't sign a new keeper.

                          It is just very weird. Everyone know what they need but for years the manager don't give a **** and just continue like there isn't a problem.

                            I can't quite decide if I agree with this - Fabregas is a leader in the sense of a conductor of the orchestra when things are going well. He makes others better, but he doesn't quite have the tactic awareness or infectious enthusiasm of others.

                            I agree that they need leaders (and I would argue cynical ones at that).

                            This season the really strange thing has been that when they go ahead they don't keep the ball in the way that they do beforehand. They also don't seem to consistently press the opposition. All very odd.

                            I think Wenger needs to shake up something there - either on the pitch of the coaching of the team. Even now I still think that they will do well this season as they are capable of getting a win in any game and other teams are throwing points away too.

                              A part of the problem is that they don't have a leader just as you say. They don't have good Captain. The same problem we have.

                              They miss Henry and Vieira just as much as we miss Xabi and Hyypia.

                              Just shows how important leadership is.
