    Alex Song

I remember many years ago we were playing against Arsenal (maybe the League cup game we got spanked 6-3?), I got a text from an Arsenal mate of mine just saying, "****ing hell, you must be ****, even Song scored against you."

I had little or no idea who he was then.

This season I've seen loads of him and **** me he has developed into some player. The man is a rock. A monster. And a fantastic footballer as well, with an increasing ability to put the ball in the back of the net.

I spoke to that same mate recently and reminded him of his comments. "Yeah, I was wrong. He's immense. Nobody bullys us anymore because of Song. He'll be better than Viera", was his response.

Next time you watch Arsenal, just look at the impact Alex Song has, it's incredible.

He's not better than Vieira was for them. Nowhere near, not yet anyway.

An arsenal fan was saying the exact same thing to me after that game as well. He now doesn't go on about then needing a proper DM anymore and reckons Song is the man for that role.

I just can't get passed his stupid hair tbh

He's improved in leaps and bounds but he's nowhere near Vieira yet and I very much doubt he'll surpass him.

Song isn't even as good as Flamini
The King was back for a short while. Long live The King.

Song was always decent. I remember when he played for Charlton on loan, he actually looked like a really good passer as well back then.

He looks like a **** though.

Song was born in Douala, Cameroon and lost his father at the age of three. Song is one of 28 children, he has 17 sisters and 10 brothers

                          Holy sweet ****.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I've seen plenty of him, we just obviously have hugely differing versions of what "fantastic", "brilliant" and "incredible" mean.

He certainly looked far from those things in home defeats to West Brom and Newcastle. And the less said about his performance the other day v Spurs the better, appalling on the ball and ****e defensively. But he's had some good games this season, he's a decent/good player and thats about it. Not good enough on the ball to be anything else despite a couple of decent goals this season.
