      Because he's not coming to us. He's going to run the show and we will be left devastated again at missing out on a very exciting and talented player. We have to hope its not utd that he signs for. Maybe we could appoint zidane as manager or coach and help our case of signing hazard.

        Yes, last summer Kenny and Comolli had him down as our first target but couldn't convince him to leave as he wanted to play in the CL with Lille.

        My "vitriol" has nothing to do with the fact that he's not coming to us - it's his attitude. He's 21 years of age, hasn't accomplished much in his fledgling career and yet is carrying on this way, stringing three big clubs along and basically keeping all his options open in such an arrogant way.

        He wants to move, doesn't care where to.

          Oh yeah? Well, since he won't be coming to us, there's no chance of us ever finding out if that might cause you to feel differently.

          As for him "stringing three big clubs along and basically keeping his options open", it seems to me it's not totally unlike the way many people, whatever their line of work, would tend to treat potential employers.

                    Yeh I agree! You will always weigh your options up to see the best offer on the table! At least he is being fairly open about it! I think he will go to City! They are on the up and will be able to give him that little bit more money than anyone else!
