I'm quite happy Real Madrid got him tbh. I thought he was out of our reach at this moment in time and otherwise could have gone to Man City, Man Utd or Chelsea. Better he is playing in Spain than against us in England.

More often than not; the bigger clubs in terms of magnitude from finance, history and fan-following points of view, are the most talent-hungry sides in the world of football. As well, ambitious clubs which are empowered by sudden financial windfalls from takeovers by extra-rich investors are seen in talent-hunts throughout.

No sooner a gifted youngster is spotted anywhere in the world, the wannabe player is ascribed unprecedented value overnight; pursuant to the urgent interest shown from the European giants. In addition, the first official bid for the prodigious starlet from any club is most likely to fail. And probably, that has to be attributed to the smartness of the current club holding the rights to the player; the first failed bid only means the price-tag of the player skyrocketing.

It goes without saying that a genuine talent stands to serve the cause of any side; fans are used to watching the biggest clubs winning and dominating while ambitiously emerging clubs are more than keen to stamp their coming-of-age. All the clubs vying to lay their hands on a sought-after talent might have their own other-agendas though.

On the other side, the trend characterized by a decorated talent pursued by more than one potent club at the same time which makes talent acquisition all the more competitive and difficult, must be testimony to the fact that more than the winding road to the top, the toughest challenge is staying there at the top; more so, giving it a different twist with regard to the lesser clubs with fewer chances of triumph, having to fight it out with the strongest.

Getting to the point; the latest on the tug-of-war club transfer market scene happens to be Ligue 1 club Lille’s £40 million-rated youngster Eden Hazard. From among the clubs in hot pursuit of the 20-year-old playmaker, Chelsea are known to be the closest at this point who stand to secure the services of the youngster; things change quickly in football though. The other giants who are treading upon the heels of the English club include Real Madrid and Barcelona from Spain; Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City from England, and then Italy’s Inter Milan who are “very interested” in Hazard. Interestingly, Arsenal already had a bid rejected for Lille’s prized possession during the summer transfer window.

Unless we make the champs league, which is looking difficult.

You could see Kaka playing on the right side of the attack for 15 minutes and then the next 15 minutes could play in the centre. You could say the same about all their attacking players.

Kaka could of course be the player that will leave because they are similar type of players.
                    Higuain plays through the middle.

The rest do what they want.

Even if we make the Champions league imo, there will always be sides that with their massive wealth seem a better bet than we do, i'm talking the most sought after players here remember, so imo those sides will be offering higher wages, bigger transfer fee, and a bigger chance of playing in the Champions league and challenging for the title season in season out.

Between City, Utd, Chelsea, Madrid, Barca, the most wanted players are going to be very hard to sign. imo.

But i think our owners know this, and it's why they are targetting young talented players from around the world, in the hope we can buy them before they turn into the most sought after.

The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
