Yes, but the money still has to come from somewhere, just because we spent £35m on Carroll doesn't mean we're going to it again and again. Lets not forget we recouped a large amount of money through player sales, can't see us spending £30m+ on a single player without recouping a similar amount through sales.

We can use next summers money. Their spend over the 2 transfer windows combined is a net of less then £55million IIRC. We saved at least £40m a year on not paying interest and we get at least £30m a year from the premiership.

I reckon they will if they feel necessary to do so.

I'm really not worried you know mate. Dalglish will get full backing for any player he wants I am absolutely confident of that.

Most of the dross from the club has gone now so there won't be much recouping to do they can just keep investing from now on.

Another thing as well, the Red Sox have had a disappointing year so they will want to make sure they improve next year and I feel they will channel their efforts into both the Red Sox and us next season to make us both stronger.

FSG don't have any other option than to continue to splash the cash because they will probably build a new stadium and they need to fill it week in week out.

The only way doing that is if we are fighting for the league and CL trophies.

They will earn back the money they spend now later if we are fighting at the top. Better sponsorship deals, more CL money and so on.

If a player cost £40m and Kenny want him then money won't stop the deal going through IMO.

Bear in mind also, it could be said that spending the money now will ultimately make them more money. Being in the CL could be worth around £30m. Makes sense to spend big now, recoup some of it via the CL and as an extra bonus, have a squad capable of challenging for honours, being in the CL every year and reaping the financial rewards all of this brings.
