Carlos Tevez I Quit episode 5

Carlos Tevez has revealed how disgruntled with life in Europe he is, insisting he will return home to Argentina by the time he is 30.

Tevez has long been rumoured to be unhappy with his footballing life, not just at Manchester City, but with his professional career in general.

The Argentine star was recently allowed to return home for a prolonged trip, with reports suggesting he was considering his future.

Now he has admitted that he cannot see a long-term future in Europe after spells at West Ham United and Manchester United before his time at City.

In an interview with Argentinian station TyC Sports, Tevez reportedly said: "If you ask me, I would love to have my old life back in my neighbourhood of Fuerte Apache. I don't want to play anymore.

"I'm tired of football but I'm also tired of people who work in football. Football is only about money and I don't like it."

Tevez also admitted that he was disillusioned with the attitude of young players in the game.

"The young players think they have won something in football because they have two cell phones and a house," he said.

"Today there are many bad people in the football business and you have to fight with them all the time. I'm going to play football for three or four years in Europe then I will quit.

"Today the young players have no education at all and I don't want to listen to them.

"When I played in Boca, when Martin Palermoor Juan Roman Riquelme talked, I listened to them. So I don't want a young player to ask me 'why did you do that?' in the dressing room. I would punch them as I have won 13 titles in my career."

His interview is bang on the money and fair play to him but its a bit rich when he's taking home 200k a week. Some people just have no idea how lucky they are be to be in that sort of position. If it hadn't have been for Football he would still be in the slums of Argentina.

Haha Tevez wants his old life back now that he is a multi millionaire, easy for him to say it now, not that he is wrong but can't take that interview seriously.

He's right about the state of football and its all about Money and fair play to him for saying it but he's one of the biggest takers of the Premiership gravy train. For a minute you do think "Yeah he's right" then you see who is saying it.

Absolutely he does. Football is both horrible and fantastic at the same time.

I think if you look at his specific path, being bought by venture capitalists and whored around etc it has heightened his feelings of utter materialism. Plus he's played for 2 of the chaviest bling clubs in the country which is bound to leave a bad taste.

Carlos Tevez's agent has met with officials from Juventus, reports in Italy claim.
Newspaper Tuttosport reports that Juve general manager Beppe Marotta has met with Kia Joorabchian, Tevez's representative, with a view to a big-money deal for the Manchester City hit-man in the summer.
The Turin side will apparently offer £26.7m for the Argentina forward, with an annual salary of £5.3m.
The stumbling block though in any potential deal could be the lack of European football on offer, with Juventus currently seventh in Serie A and struggling to qualify for the Europa League, let alone the Champions League.
And while Tevez handed in a transfer request earlier in the season, he said in January that the "issue was in the past" and that he is happy with life at Eastlands.

Along with Juve, Serie A rivals AC and Inter Milan are regularly linked with Tevez, while in Spain, giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also interested in the Argentina international.
The 27-year-old has been on fire this season for City hitting 22 goals in all competitions, getting him on the shortlist for the PFA Player of the Year award.

But Tevez's season could be cut short after he picked up a hamstring injury in the 3-0 loss to Liverpool this week and he is definitely out of City's FA Cup Semi-final against rivals Manchester United on Saturday.
